The Sims Mobile is based on events, without them the game would be very tedious, new seasons of events are added with each new update, which occur every 2 or 3 months. Now, we have a new event! The ‘Sim Festival’ has arrived at Monte Salgado, a new “fun” way to win multiple prizes, through a pass system. Check out more information about this new event:
When will it occur?
This is a fixed event, that is, it will always be in the game, lasts for 50 days and works based on seasons. Apparently the team does not intend to renew it in all updates, however fixed it will not always be active.
How does the festival work?
There are two modes available: the free pass with 14 prizes and the festival pass, this being paid with 60 prizes (+14 of the free pass). You have 60 levels to complete using award tickets.
How to win award tickets?
You can win these tickets in two ways!
Through daily tasks: They are updated every day at 08:00 local. There are 6 tasks, when you complete all of them you can buy more tasks with Simoleons. These are simple tasks, ranging from: Complete 1 quick shift in any event or spend 100 Sim energy points.
And through the tasks of the season: Unlike the daily tasks, the tasks of the season are NOT updated daily, you have all the remaining time of the season to complete them. They will either buy a new batch or spend 800 energy points from their Sims. They give more winning tickets than the daily chores.
How to use the winning tickets?
You use the tickets in the pass! As you win these tickets they are automatically deposited on the line, with that your level will rise and you will unlock the prizes. If you purchased the festival pass, you will win free pass prizes too!
What are the prizes?
In the free pass the highlighted prizes are: Perplexed Dresser, Metallic Drop Table, Round Stool, Connected Leather Armchair and Vanessa Vieira's Autographed Plate.
In the pass of the season the highlighted prizes are: Vanessa Vieira (she will appear in your city, you can start a friendship, relationship… with her and later make her playable), Generously Geometric Floor, Spotlight Jacket, Crease Gate Marked, Delightful Denim Miniskirt, Luxurious Luxury Wood Panel, Striped and Tight Tights, Color Kiss Lipstick, Mo 'Koa Wood Bathtub, Big Wave of Monte Salgado, Bob Wicks of Style, Radiant Bar Exploration, Smoky Eye Shadow , Mansão Vieira (Vanessa's house will appear in the catalog of planned houses) and the Celebrity Life Trophy.
Is it worth buying the festival pass?
First remember: this pass is only valid for the current season, the next you must buy another pass :). Whether or not it is worth buying depends on you, out of the 60 prizes (+14 free pass) most of them are only Simoleons, SimCash and chips. Also remember that in SimCity BuildIt you pay minus for almost double the prizes!
